The System of Trust

I promise it won't happen again
I will read it tomorrow
I will take it after watching this series
Naaaaa let me rest for an hour before I begin
Let me take this break first
Ooops, I forgot we were fasting, I will begin tomorrow
I lied again

You may have said these many times
You may have said yes to the right things at the wrong time
You may have been tempted by your desires and forgotten what was the priority
You left the relevant for the irrelevant
You pushed time forgetting time isn't waiting for you
You wrongly manipulate every season
Yet, you desire to see the lines fall into pleasant places

Have you seen an employee falter badly and still hold a very high position?
Have you encountered a servant whose lips lack the taste of truth and is trusted?
Have you ever seen true diligence wrapped in carelessness?
Maybe you have seen consistency having stripes of procrastination.

We hear a lot of men tell their success stories
Listening to these stories, we see
Consistency
Perseverance
Passion
Hard work
Diligence

Yes, some may have been born with a silver spoon but the source of the spoon did go through it
Others may have invested with little and just waited to see their net worth grow as the years go by
Yes, they are enjoying the fruit of their wisdom and labour

Others were gifted with many by telling the truth
Their loyalty and truthfulness built a system of wealth and trust for
them
Trust that has opened many doors
Trust that has built them homes
Trust that has secured the future of their family
Trust that has trumpeted their names to the world
Trust that has birth their Greatness
Daily they enlarge and grow in all they do

This is the system trust to men
How much more God
Your source
The One who owns it all and gives every right and good thing

How many times have you gone back on your words?
How many times have you procrastinated spending time with Him?
You don't miss deadlines yet, you always miss His
You have gradually developed a system of inconsistency
You have made your relationship with him so 'normal'
You change His time to fit in others
You change His to make time for others
You change His to please yours

Yes, He gave you the free will
But, have you seen a master leave his house to his servants to have fun for a day, and they decided to eat from the master's plate or sleep in his bed?
Then why?
The free will is given but, it must be in His will else, you miss your way.

You have built a system of procrastination
A system of inconsistency
A system of disappointment
A system of disloyalty
A system of failure
In your system when life happens,
You weep and remember have a Father

When life happens
You find yourself pleading for forgiveness
You keep apologising each day for that which you have been forgiven
Doing this,
You open room for the enemy to rob you of the truth
Gradually you lose your identity
You may poses Power, fire, talent, skills
But a skilful man without character cannot make things happen in season

You may have it all but you wouldn't have the Father trusting you with anything
The Father isn't searching for the gifted, the talented, the skilful
He is searching for those He can trust
Those who will take up His work without wasting time
Those who will go all out and not miss it
Those who will be diligent
These are the ones He is looking for

You have created the wrong system for so long
You have left your closet dusty
The leaves of your journal cry for the feel of an ink
Your Bible weeps for a cleaning ad an opening
Your spirit thirst for living water
Your soul yearns for light
Your heart desires a warmth embrace
Your body needs energy to touch lives

Go back to the beginning
To the place where you never took a step without God
The place where His will was your will
The place where it was God and God only
The place where you listened daily
The place where you wrote his vision and gave out his wisdom
The place where you never left his presence
The place where you obeyed wholeheartedly
The place where the gospel was your gospel

Go back and build a new system
A system of consistency
A system of loyalty
A system of success
A system of perseverance
A system of Hope
A system of Growth
A system of Intimacy
Filled with Faith, Hope,Love and Wisdom
Build the system to be trusted
