Charley, there is gist
I have a bag loaded with gist
There is gist oooo
I believe we have said this or have been the one listening to the gist before
Sometimes , the gist is definitely sweet
Other times, educative
Most times, just gossip
But charley it hits differently when you perceived the outcome
Having some yoghurt and chips beside to digest the gist hits differently
We have been there

There is that one person or you who always receives the gist
No information passes by when he or she is present
It's as if they bring the bag of details to them before distributing to other sectors

They know what is going on and happening in every corner
They smell problem from afar
They can taste chaos without a table set before them

Always tapping their thighs, snapping their fingers, and opening their eyes so wide to release that which no one has heard
It's always the last statement: 'Yes, ooo', 'You don't know', 'hmm…...' or'mese' not to talk of 'I kid you not.'

The juice, which is never cold but hot
He or she spill, and we shout.
"Ei something that could have been said in years, you just said it in a minute."

But Wonderful Gist Lord,
Have you taken a break to wonder why you are the only one receiving all this information?
Is there a calling perhaps to help some people before they get into trouble?
Is it a call for you to do right by yourself and others and work on some assignment you have left hanging?
Perhaps that Gist was for you to protect the children around so they don't fall victim to an abuse
Maybe the Gist was to remind you to go back to a life-changing project you abandoned because you lacked ideas to keep it thriving

Come to think of it, what if the daily Gist was to let you know your gift of curiosity, which will open up secrets about God to you and the nations?
What if the Gist was to let you see how creative and analytical you are?
This skill of critical thinking and creativity is what many businesses are looking for
What if the Gist is to set you straight on some decisions or poor decisions you are about to make?
What if the Gist was to call you to the place of prayer for the victims?
What if the Gist was to make you a better person?
What if the Gist was to make you pray for that person?
What if the Gist was for you to release wisdom and cause a generational change?

The Gist is sweet
The Gist breeds volumes of pleasure
You still have your title
But re-think this title and make it more meaningful
Change it from the Gist Lord, who spreads the rumours
Be the Gist Lord who is purposeful and impactful
