Telling It.... Praying It
7 August 2020

Have you ever been through a face of life where people you know must love you act the opposite? Was there a time a problem kept eating you up and you kept it without telling but rather moving away from people wondering who will listen? Has there been a time you complain so much about the people who birth you to others thinking you are the only one facing such a challenge? And have you joined the "loneliness" team because you are treated so differently from the others and you hurt within?
We walk this earth highly spirited to be liked by all, have a great life, be worry-free, problem-free, help people get over their problems especially when others open up to us and we become motivators, solutions and many other positive things to them.
Despite all these feeling we have and also help we give to others, we have battles we fight within daily. What happens mostly is that we refuse to let others know about them because we seek to make everyone around us happy and free from problems. But what then happens to us? Just as many will ask, who entertains the entertainer?

Our desires to make others happy all the time but we hurting within, creates the room for loneliness and the desire to be alone all the time away from problems. The people we know must love especially our parents but do the opposite mostly create this gap and we tend to be alone. When this happens sometimes we complain as well wondering (I am to honour my parents but what they are doing is hurtful), we feel guilty sometimes but life goes on. But we must honour them at all times, it is very important.
Keeping our issues to ourselves all the time, making others happy while we hurt inside or run into our closet to cry won't help us solve the problem better still some problems might be there for a while but we keeping it and pondering over how hurtful it is wont help us overcome. It's time to tell it but to the right person.
"By not speaking you don't get rid of the story, you just open up a silence which can be just as loud" Matt Smith. Speaking to the right people about such challenges help you overcome and sometimes solve what you thought couldn't have been solved. The right people we open up to can share stories of the same issue even bigger than ours which we think never happen to people like them. Everyone has a story behind all the smiles we see, seeking assistance reveals these stories which give us hope to also help others overcome.
A challenge you face today with people which hurts you badly and tend to push you away from others or smile but hurt within is not easy but you can overcome. It time you tell it to the right people especially those you trust and see as mentors (pastors, leaders, good friends etc.) and more often do well to pray about it to God your source. Complains never solve a matter but rather makes you bitter and increases the desire to be alone which affects you in the end.
It is time to tell it to the right person. Time to open up for assistance and time to pray it into solution.
