Father give me speed
Lord give me speed
Let me run faster than Usain Bolt
Let me run faster than the chariot
Lord grant me speed
This, is your prayer
This, is my prayer
No man wants to be stagnant
We desire progress
Not just progress but quick progress

Is speed how fast one is?
Is speed how quick something arrives?
Is speed that which GWR indicates?
Or is speed all we know as something being fast?
No matter how well we may understand speed from our dictionaries and socialisation with society, speed is personal.

We all have our definition of speed
One wants to be rich in 2 years
Another thinks 5 years is better
The Trotro driver thinks escaping traffic to use the bumpy road is speed, whereas, other drivers think staying in the traffic; the straight route is speed
The audience at an athletic event may think a person winning a race is speed but for the athlete it is the minutes or time
You getting that "best life" in 10 years proves speed to you, but what if speed to your source means forfeiting that life for a different life that takes 15 years?

Speed means many different things to many people
Speed explains the value of life to many
However have you thought of what speed means to God
Speed isn't just how fast you can be or how quick you are; rather, speed is your fulfillment of His will in the designated time he purposed
Speed is when you fulfill your assignment in the said time

Speed is when you are walking in the will of the one who has called and sent you
Speed is knowing your assignment and going about it each day without compromising
When a man understands his assignment, his job, he goes about it without taking a break
He makes sure, that assignment is fulfilled

We desire speed but we keep delaying on the path
We desire speed but our delays carry our daily assignments to the next day
Our backs are heavy with unfulfilled daily assignments
How then can we envision the speed we have been given

We want to see manifestations in 3 years
We want to be like the others
Why are they there and we aren't?
But is it our time yet?
Have we built our foundations well enough
Do we have the blueprint, the knowledge, and the wisdom to fight at that peak?
Are we prepared enough for this sudden speed we desire?

When we delay our assignment, it stays with us and we end up working more days than we could have
When we delay we slow our process
There may be speed, but, not the speed recognized by GWR
There may be speed but our load, blocks us from seeing and experiencing it

Each person's journey is different
Our timelines are different
Desiring the timeline of another is skipping the process of nurturing to maturity
A 10-year-old sent straight to a doctorate class will never be able to comprehend what happens
They may be smart but will not be able to relate with issues surrounding all that is happening
Because they skipped their process of growth

Speed is for the one who is ready to pick up the assignment and run daily with it
Speed comes to him that knows who he is and lives according to the will of his source
Speed is manifested to they that can see it
Speed is relevant to the man with a purpose

As you desire speed in your walk with He that sent you
Ask yourself,
Am I walking in the will of the Father?
Do I know my purpose and assignment?
Am I skipping the grooming process?
Am I ready for this speed?

Speed is essential in all aspects of life
But speed means different things in every situation
Set you heart right on the father
Desire his grace, strength, wisdom to direct you so that you walk in his will with full speed.
