ARE THEY FACTS OR THE TRUTH? What truth do you know and have believed.

We walk the walk of life seeking for truth. Truth means a lot to everyone in that when we are denied knowledge of the truth we tend to hate people who hide such truth from us and desire to know the root of everything. We all believe the truth sets one free and I agree with that. The law of every society also seeks to reveal the truth in every situation. But have you come to the knowledge of the real truth about yourself, this life and everything there is?
In the field of Journalism, Bill Kovach and Tom Rosenstiel (2001) stated that a journalist first obligation is to the truth thus at all times the journalist must make sure he or she is telling the truth and with this, they are urged to provide facts to prove what they refer to as truth. This is what the field of journalism and even what each of us expects because many facts can be provided on the same matter but the truth brings an end to it all to solve the issue.
That's the same with us as people who look up to a creator. There are many things we have been told we are, have read through the word or our various spiritual books; our identity, our true being. We have come to understand that everything that is the truth is our creator. Some believe but as we face the world we forget. The creator is truth and has been truth. So then, what truth have you been feeding your life with?
We face many challenges which weigh us down and take away everything from us. We find ourselves in situations where we have to forego our pride, and we face issues where we change into new people forgetting our values just to get what we seek because we are fed up of the waiting and processes. We tend to believe what society is saying and believe in the systems of the world and thoughts about it. These things we believe and rely on may sound as truth because it works almost everywhere but they are not they are facts which are there to prove the truth.
We call our creator a healer, but when we are told of our health diagnosis we break down and forget that he heals us from all diseases and also restores our health though it may tarry. These facts are accurate descriptions, they tell us exactly what is happening and what is wrong or what it is at that particular time but, what to note is that these facts are just momentary circumstances. They are just there for a moment and in the end the truth surfaces. So yes the facts may be that you have an ulcer as I was told sometime early on but the truth is I am already healed by the stripes of he who saved and even by the one you believe in.
In the law court, each side comes with facts to prove their point on the same issue but when judgment is declared by the judge it becomes the accepted truth based on the facts. Though truth was declared that declared truth is for a moment because it can change at any time when new facts are found and the case is opened up again. It is same with research where findings change as time goes on thus making it facts but not the truth.
What facts have you believed as truth for so long? It's time to accept the truth who is God because everything truth comes from him and that gives us our identity. Everything he says you are in the truth and everything he says you will achieve you will as you keep pushing and taking up opportunities to add value to yourself. The trials will come, they will pile up sometimes once a while, sometimes for a whole season they just keep coming up but what is the truth concerning all these hurdles (what has God said about that).
A friend once said when you build your life on facts you build your life on sand and building it on truth is building it on a rock. When we build our lives on things which are for a moment we lose focus and keep chasing after things that are not real as everything sinks but a life built on truth makes us strong, increases our faith and belief and creates in us the zeal to keep pushing, knowing more, learning more, growing and never giving up. And with this, we tend to hear God well and ignore anything that contradicts the truth we know.
It is not easy though but, with the help of the Holy Spirit, we can overcome the desire to always see the facts before the truth. It's time we see the truth, fully believe this truth and prevail.
The truth is not just anything but a personality who makes everything new, restores, revive, comforts, strengthen, provide, and see to our growth because he is always mindful of us.
Go back to the truth you accepted and stick with him.
